Trademark Issue

    Can anybody tell me how to enter brand names in adwords system...if i m using the same companys brand name and google says that Trademark Voilated....so how shud i enter trademark of that branded company....

    you can advertise on that trademark using that brand name's keyword, but you can't use that brand name in your ad copy

    I see many ads where you can bid on keywords with no problem, as long as the merchant don't mind

    It compeltely depends on your merchant's TOS. If they have not allowed to bid on trademarked keywords, google will not allow you to use those keywords either in your ad copy or your keyword list.

    There is currently a case pending where "Interflora" are pursuing "Marks & spencer" for the latter buying the keyword "interflora" . The outcome should be very interesting. Google say it's nothing to do with them but with expanded broad match that is just not true.

    There is a possibility that you could show up in results for the search term "interflora" even if you didn't have that in your keyword list if google expanded your broad match for the term say "flowers" to include searches made for interflora
