Trademark Infringment Lawsuit any good outside of USA?

I am just being sued by a firm in usa. I wont take any names here. They are a florida based business and have trademark registered in USA only. Can they take any action against me being outside of USA? they also involved the companies i was affiliate partner with. Those companies are currently looking at their notice. I have taken down all pages which were conflicting their trademark terms but they claimed profits and damages as a part of the claim.

I am wondering whether i should reply to their notice or just ignore it since there can't be a legal action since am not in USA or a citizen of USA?

    any suggestions?

As far as I am aware if your a registered company nationally yes if not they are very limited to what they can do if anything at all.

For example McDonalds registered national business if they broke copyright law they could be sued no matter what.

An individual or say a small limited by gurantee none national company in the UK well as far as I am aware nothing can be done but don't take my word for it as I'm not 110%

    Good Luck

    Good luck.

Usually in the UK anyway they wouldn't be allowed to sue to moto is how can someone pay what they haven't got can't afford so unless your in the millions there is no need to worry if you are speak to that lawyer will help put your mind at rest.

If they are going after you r domain name, you are at risk for having it transferred to their control under the UDRP. If your hosting company or service provider is in the US, they might be able to shut that down.

I get sued every month. There is not enough information here. I can't see what a US court can do if you are not there.
