    Go here http://www.uspto.gov select trademarks and conduct a search.

    Keep in mind that a trademark in a given "class" does not preclude a trademark in a different one.

    I suspect Google is your friend. Try a search like "UK +trademark +office" without the " " or sustitute patent for trademark.
