Hello. I own a trademark. I decided to register today a domain name for it and I found out someone already had registered this domain name. What should I do in order to solve this issue ? I would appreciate your help.
The first thing I would do is determine if my trademark was before the domain was purchased. Then I would look at the "classes" involved. You own your trademark for a class of use. If it is a unigue or coined word you may have exclusive. You can find out when the domain was registed by doing a whois.
Try the dot net, dot biz version is one way for the time being. Take your case to ICANN, it will take a long time so have the dot net and dot biz handy.
