Trademark a Domain Name! Need Help

    Hello i need help, i never trademark a domain, so i'm starting a new site and would like to brand it. How can i get a trademark? Does it have any company that do it for me?

    If the site is new and relatively keep in mind that it might not be worth spending the money and time to trademark it. If it ever gets big you probably want to but I find the vast majority of sites started online get scrapped in the first 1-2 months so you will have ended up just wasting cash.

    It depends on what you are doing with the domain/trademark. A TM is used to protect a product or service. All you need in theory to claim a trademark is to mark it MYDOMAIN(TM). However in a competitive environment you may want to register it - a registered trademark is when you see MYDOMAIN(R). Registering requires some paperwork and small fees (you can do this yourself and wouldn't need a lawyer).
