TrackMonitor is not compatible with Vista?

I have installed the Trackmonitor.exe, the tool that shows what music I am listening too at this moment.

However, when I open it, the box opens for 1-2 seconds ans closes, so I can't type my username and the Authentication Hash...

    I am running Vista.

    Any ideas?

Not sure if this will solve your problem, try to run TrackMonitor in XP compatibility mode.

Right click on TrackMonitor, click on Compatibility tab, select 'Run this program in compatibility mode for:', and choose Windows XP.

I removed the music tracker because it was not fully working with Windows XP so maybe the problem is not OS compatibility but the need to make available and updated version of tracker.exe.

Honestly, I don't believe this is going to happen.

I never had an issue like this but I forgot to mention something else about this little utility

Sometimes it can't display a song due to defective ID tags.

By disappear, you mean it closes or goes back to system tray?

He seems to mean the icon disappears off the system tray.

This usually happens when you are running a program that crashes and its icon remains in the system tray area until you try to click on it and it dissolves into the thin air

It disappears when the mouse pointer is over it... I can't even double click.
As mentioned in the previous post - when a program crashes, it leaves the icon on the tray bar - exactly the same here here...
