Google Analytics is best for tracking IMO.

Well... the most obvious solution is Google Analytics.
Some very good plugins for Wordpress are Statpress and Wassup (both availilbe at the official website).

Also one of the most popular software is Wordpress (dot) com Stats :)

The best for me would be Google Analytics. It is very easy to set up.

i am using stat counter, easier than google analytics to track all data, visitor coming and exit links, exit link activity, most popular exit link and also tracking of external links.

I mainly use Google Analytics. But a couple of weeks I setup my Yahoo Blog Log account, and it seems to be pretty good. The one thing I do not like about the yahoo blog log, its features are limited unless you buy the full version.
