Tracking users of my website who participate in affiliate programs?

I know there are plenty of applications to keep track of affiliate programs from the affiliate owner's perspective. But is there an application for keeping track of users who participate in these affiliate programs through my site?

For example I want to know if a user of my site clicks on a banner link and if they purchase a product from that link for example. Has anyone heard of such a program? Do they exist?

    That's essentially what CPA/CPL is...

if a user of my site clicks on a banner link and if they purchase a product from that link for example. Has anyone heard of such a program? Do they exist?

    Sites:
    Amazon.com's affiliate program
    cj.com
    clickbank.com
    and many others.

For this to be possible the merchant/advertizer should have the function that shows an affiliate-specific tracking pixel on their "thank you page". Most affiliate networks have this, even some affiliate software has, like Post Affiliate Pro.
Then you can track with Tracking202 or maybe even Google Analytics
