    Hello all,

    Newie question here...

I want to track all people who:

    a) Come in via Google Adwords to my landing page that has a sign-up form.

    b) Come in via Google Adwords AND fill-up my sign-up form.

How can I track these two things with Google Adwords and/or Google Analytics?

I will very much appreciate a step by step on this..my head is spinning looking at the nice things that Google Analytics/ Adwords can do you for. :)

Well you can do the following:

    1. Create a profile in Google analytics for the site
    2. Paste the code on the landing page - This will help you track the traffic coming on the site
    3. Link Google Analytics to Google Adwords (Apply cost data) - This will help you track visitors coming through Adwords
    4. Either set goal tracking from Google analytics OR Google Adwords
    5. If you set through Google adwords dont set through Google Analytics, vis-a-vis. If you decide to track thru Google analytics you will find an option in Google adwords to 'import your Google Analytics goals'. If you track from Adwords you will have to insert a conversion tracking code on to your site. Now I am not sure what is better tracking it from Adwords/Analytics?! You better do a research on this ;)

    6. I dont know much about this myself - but you can create a custom report from Analytics to track Adwords traffic and conversion.

Please remember - Anything you do.. wait for 24 - 48 hrs to get ur stats.. I think I have included all the points.. Hope this helps..

Make sure to set up your landing page as a step to the goal so you can check abandonment rate at each step of the process.

I have strange issue with my website Conversion rate. Google analytics is showing total conversion of 14 per day for a particular day. But when ever i check conversion manually from my website conversion statistic, its showing somehow total 4 conversions rather then 14 conversion. So how to correct Google analytics to showing exactly conversion rate?
