Someone told me I could dynamically insert the the keyword into the subID of my destination URL in a ppc ad using {Keyword:AlternateText} in my subID. Does this work on all three major search engines? Would I simply put my destination url and subID with this tag at the end... like so: http://x.azjmp.com/0FQ39?sub=yh{Keyword:alt} or should I use the add sub ID function in Azoogle? When I do that, it comes out like this: http://x.azjmp.com/0FQ39?sub=yh{Keyword:lt} I'm assuming that's wrong. Someone please confirm the right way of doing things before I mess up all my campaigns. Thanks!!
First one... I'm not sure why you have "yh" there though. And this is assuming you're doing a straight redirect to the offer page?
1. I'm guessing so he knows it's from yahoo rather than google. 2. Obviously yes, straight redirect. The way I do this is by inputting my keywords and their linking urls in Excel, and uploading them in bulk.
Yeah, I was tired when I wrote all that. yh is just yahoo. It was just an example. I'm talking about sending traffic directly to the offer page. I have more success sending some offers directly to the landing page and I just needed a way to track keywords. I am implementing that now. Thanks!
Is there a way to stucture this so it works with site-targeted campaigns? Obviously, I'd like to figure out which sites on Google are the ones that are converting. How would I create that URL? Thanks!
