Hi first post here on Digitalpoint, I have just started getting into Google Adwords and I am trying to find a better way to track my campaigns in Google Analytics. My Adwords Campaigns do not show much in the way of meaningful information in Google Analytics, it only shows that it was a cpc, doubleclick or mail.google.com referral. My Campaign is not showing up either despite being added to GA a few days ago. How do I get more meaningful Campaign stats (Campaign Names, keywords, referral paths etc) out of Google Analytics?
Hey I think I might be able to help you out. In Google Analytics, go to traffic sources on the left side of the screen. From there, click AdWords and go to AdWords Campaigns. After that you can view stats for each campaign, adgroup, and individual keyword. Just keep clicking on the links to go deeper into the analytics. Hope this helps!
Hey thanks for your reply, I know where to find the campaign section of Analytics, the problem I have is with the reporting, it is only showing up 28 of the 135 keywords I am using and none of the click throughs I am getting from Google Search, there are 7 clicks showing for adwords group not set (maybe this is the content network?), but there are 12 clicks missing from GA that came from Search. Is there something else I need to setup in Adwords to fix this, like conversions maybe?
