Attention Google Analytics Experts! How do I track CONVERSIONS on users who come from our Facebook Fan Page and sign up for a Free Trial? I would like Analytics to store a cookie when a user comes from Facebook, recall it when they return at a later date and then score it as a Facebook conversion even if they navigated from another source. Do I do this through Goals and Funnels? Or do I somehow have to set up a spot light code like the one used in AdWords? Thanks for the intel.
