I have sites converting through the content network and I know what keywords are converting. I know what sites are converting, but is there a way I can find out where these leads are coming from? Because for some reason I get some krappy leads, but then on the other hand I get some pretty high qualified leads how can I tell what sites these are coming from?
If you run a placement report you can see what statistics are given for which websites. Just go to "Reports" and select "Replacement Report", then use your own desired settings.
Which I understand that, but what I'm saying is how can I tell what leads are coming from what sites (quality wise). For example I'm getting 100 leads a day, but I know what sits are sending them right? Well say I want to detail it down a bit more becuase maybe one site is sending me a bunch of unqualified leads vs another site that is probaly sending me some very high qualified leads through our form? See what I'm saying? I was thinking about creating placements on the sites that were sending a lot of conversions then possibly create some type of tracking code in the url to determine which site is sending the highest quality leads. When I refer to qualified leads I'm referring to leads from sites where people want to spend money I could get tons of conversions (leads) from another site, but they could always be low quality and never convert into clients.
It sounds like you need to use analytics, it will provide you with all the details you want to know and much more. Check it out for yourself because there is far too much for me to even explain here: http://www.google.com/analytics/ You will be able to determine which leads are coming from which site and also connect the analytics account to your adwords account. This means you can see what conversions come from where and who.
