    I tried to find this on many forum, but need to ask here too.
    I've a site which has sub-domain apply.mysite.com

    1. I know that we can track visitors from sources like email, social media, ads etc to www.mysite.com
    2. We can track visitors from www.mysite.com to apply.mysite.com similarly.

    But is there a way where the whole flow from sources to mysite.com and to apply.mysite.com can be traced ?

    Source --> mysite --> apply.mysite.com
    Purpose here is to track percentage of various sources that visit apply.mysite.com

    I cannot directly send visitors to apply.mysite.com as visitors do not know what they are applying for. Hence the necessity to create the above mentioned flow.
    Please advice.

    ->I think you need to get some knowledge about the "filters" in Google analytic (or whatever analytic you are using) that help you to filter out the traffic data for a particular section.
    ->Learn something about conversion rate optimization(CRO) that will help you send the traffic to desired destination with proper traffic funnels in your landing page and also set goals in analytic.
