Hi there This is probably impossible, but I'll ask anyway. I have a website which is hosted for me, so I don't have access to server logs. I update the content myself (as it is X-cart based). But I have no way of knowing what bots have visited me and when. Is there a way I can do this from my website (tracking code or something)? I know spiders don't usually use Javascript, but is there anything that can track them? Happy new year. Regards Dilip
Sure, you can use any php based script if you have php. Power Phlogger (http://www.phpee.com/) can do that for you if you can install it on the server. Also, there are many scripts around that send you an email when t bots come to you site, but advise that this will be like spammming yourself.
