Is there a way, wherein I can track the blog comments and forum posts I created if they really send traffic to my websites without manually checking them via the Referring Sites link in Google Analytics.

You could try doing it as a customized advanced segment - 'Source' is one of the possible metrics, but you would have to have known definitions for the blogs and forums - it'll work if you're using a specific set of blogs and forums that you can list the names or urls of.

I would suggest you to use URLs in comments and posts with campaign tracking variables in order to track what you are looking for.

Basically you assign source, medium and campaign codes and append them in the destination URLs. Check out http://www.google.com/support/googleanalytics/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=55578

Additionally you can use shortened URLs instead of the big URLs with lot of query strings (just to make the URLs look clean :) )
