Tracking Backlinks

I use Yahoo site explorer to track backlinks to competitor websites.

The problem is that it doesn't show you links from social sites that use a URL shortener.

Is there any service out there that I can use that will track ALL backlinks including ones that point to a webpage with a URL shortener?

You could use google analytics for this purpose. Its friendlier and free.

 

True, but I'm looking to track competitor backlinks rather then my own.

You can use backlink checker tools which are free to use and they will provide all backlinks including which are coming from social site which include url shortener

I use backlinks praser . it is a good one to track competitors back links.

 

backlinkwatch.com is much better to get the data.

 

Webmaster tool is the most accurate from all the others to my opinion.
The most important thing is to always check with the SAME TOOL, that way you can monitor the changes and not get confused by different outcomes.
