Tracking and Getting Paid

Every once in a while I'll pick a product or service I promote through CJ.

I'll have someone buy something through one of my links. I'll watch them do it, check to make sure cookies are being set, etc.

Did this again yesterday. And the sale was NOT tracked.

This is NOT the first time this has happened with CJ. I can only imagine how many millions in affiliate commissions are lost not because the Site owner did something incorrect, but simply because CJ is not that great at tracking sales.

There are many piece of software to block cookies, turn off javascript, etc.

Yes I know the argument that if the sale isn't tracked they don't get paid. But I don't believe that for a second. They are getting paid in a lot of different ways.

i have previously heard about it... that sales and leads are actually not getting recorded by CJ at times... but this could be some kind of delay in updating... or reporting from one database to other...

i do believe that wait for sometime may be 24-48hrs to see that the sale is getting recorded or not and inform CJ the same and also tell them the advertiser and tracking code you used... may be they could sort out...

could you explain... more about this that when you procured for sale and when you saw its not recorded (time duration).

yes and remember some merchants choose batch processing. Which means your sale will show up when they batch it through.
If you would like you can pm your link and I can find someone who will be a guinee pig for you.
