Tracker not running this morning?

Discussion in 'Keyword Tracker' started by aeiouy, Oct 15, 2005.

I usually run my keywords once a day in the morning. This morning I am running them, but no matter how many times I refresh the reamining keywords and links stay the same.

It seems like it is not running.

    Any suggestions?

If I click on them individually they update fine.. it is just check-all that seems to be stuck for me.

Tried it again and seems to be okay now.

I'm showing everything is working fine on this end. Are you using the advanced usage script?

I was... It just seemed to get stuck.. I went through yesterday manually and checked every thing and it was fine.

Today I logged back in and still showed all my jobs pending, but I re-did the check all and it worked fine. Must have just been a temporary glitch.

Just gotta do that (try again later). I impose a limit as to how many "check all" threads can run at once so the server doesn't clobber itself (and the Google API).

I just checked everything (server, bandwidth, DB queries, etc.) and it all looks fine so I just upped the self-imposed limit by another 10 slots.

Hehe. Yeah. Or maybe a queue that it adds you once a slot is free in a FIFO order?

Is it time to start a fund raiser for a new server?

Or start charging a subscription fee? As much as I use it I would be more than happy to pay to support it :)

For me all the MSN ones are going -9xxx like none of the MSN are working today.

Edit: I manually checked at msn.com and the search term is still #1, just no in the tracker.

Mine also. I checked a few manually and my MSN rankings are there but the tracker is showing them -9999 "not in the index."

It scared me for a second also but considering the beating I'm taking from Jagger an MSN penalty would be a cake walk.

In addition to Shawn's awesome KWT, I run a home-grown app using the Google API with queries to Yahoo and MSN ... it is running INCREDIBLY SLOW this morning ... so I doubt the problem is on Shawn's end - in general, that's the case anyway! ;-)
