Trackback URLs

    Is link:domain.com equivalent to getting trackback links ?
    If not, how do I get trackback links ?

    Do you mean backlinks? Yes, the link: operator will show the number of backlinks for a site. However, Google does not show al the backlinks, use Yahoo to check for backlinks instead.

    Alternatively, you can try out my Backlink Analyzer (Yahoo powered)

    A trackback URL is a backlink but not all backlinks are trackback URLs.

    I guess a trackback URL is one which is the original link from which the content has been taken (or even modified) and posted on another site.
