Could anyone here can explain what a trackback means? How do I know that the visited blog has a trackback?
Track back means someone referenced a blog post you had on your blog. Wordpress has a built in trackback system. Not sure how it works otherwise. In wordpress it will show in the comments of the post.
TrackBacks essentially provide a means whereby different web sites can post messages to one another not just to inform each other about citations, but also to alert one another of related resources. Typically, a blog may display quotations from another blog through the use of TrackBacks.
