Hello All Google Analytics Professionals, I have question: I want to know the users who searched a keyword in my "site search" based on Location(City,Country). Eg: I get a report from Google Analytics about "Internal Site search". lets take a Search Term: "English Movies" , English Movies is search 20 times in a day. But i want to know from which country/city a term "English Movies" is search. Can some one help me out how to create custom reprot for this in Google Analytics. Thanks in advance. Angrezy.Com
You can use advanced segments to create a report like this at keyword level (you should be able to to use the "Site Search Category" within the "Content" dimension (in advanced sgements)). You will need to create an advanced segment per keyword you want to view. You can then apply this to the map overlay view to see the number of searches for each keyword from each country. There could be a slightly more elegant way to do this but I can't think of anything off the top of my head at the moment!
You can use advance custom filters for this. You will need 3 separate filters created one after another 1. Filter to separate traffic from your interanal keyword 2. Filter which separates visits from your map / geography report 3. Filter which will take value of internal keyword from #1 and put it into #2. U will need to use Regular expression for this, let me know if u need more help. Thanks, Ravi
