I believe that one google adsense account holder can place their adverts on up to 200 sites - or is that JUST blogger.com blogs? Whatever... What I want to know is: Is it possible to trace the account holder through their adsense adverts? I ask because someone has requested I supply content for a website and will place my adsense adverts beside it. Does this break other google rules I haven't considered?
The pub id is used to identify the adsense account holder. Allowing other persons to use your id will have its own risk and do not part with your id if the person is not trustworthy or doesn't follow the TOS scrupulously...
Also, there is no 200 website limit. Google allows your code to be placed on any number of websites that comply with the AdSense program policies. That 200 figure you mentioned is the number of tracking channels that you are permitted. If, for example, you wanted to track earnings by URL channels, you would not be able to record channel data for every domain, were you to use more than 200.
Place your ads anywhere that comes under TOS of adsense and that is the biggest advantage of adsense. Giving your Publisher Id to sites who share revenue with U are not a problem as long as they are worth to work with.
Yea put your id on as many sites as you want...but I wouldnt suggest that if you are making money.. If any sites are making good earnings open an llc and a new adsense account under that... NEVER keep all your eggs in one basket.... And if this person that wants to use you id, before you do, just remember, if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is..
It is upon publishers taste, on every google ad there is a PUT YOUR ADVERTISMENT here option but many publishers disables that.
