For some reason, this posted in domain names, not appraisals. Sorry. Can a moderator please move? Thanks! I have the following names and am curious as to the actual value, if any. All are registered through April of 2014. sparetoys.com toycrypt.com toyhalla.com toytomb.com yeoldetoystore.com yeoldetoys.com yeoldetoy.com yeoldtoyshoppe.com Agentretro.com retrofalls.com retrolair.com retrospree.com retrovana.com myoldtoybox.com thisoldtoybox.com sparetoys.org retrowiki.org I am not a domainer or really looking to become a serious one. I am trying to re-brand my vintage toys & collectible business and bought several names a couple months ago and I do not need them all. I would appreciate any information you can provide as to the value of any or all of them, so I can decide whether to sell them or just let them expire. Thank you!
Sparetoys.com would make a nice name for a place for mothers to buy and sell toys their children have grown out of. So IMHO would likely be the most valuable. Ye olde ones are quite a difficult spell, if you get my drift. I am not expert on domain priicng but I wouldn't expert much on most of them if I we're you.
Thank you Revelations. I am pretty much expecting nothing, so anything at all will be a pleasant surprise. I went on a buying binge with the intent to actually use them, and not flip them, lol. I am actually in the business of buying/selling vintage toys and collectibles and am just working on re-branding myself.
I am sure you are not the only one around these parts who went on a domain buying binge at some point even without something to rebrand LOL. You never know someone may take a fancy to one, though sparetoys is def the one I immediately had thoughts on what could be done with it as mentioned, and the one IMHO most likely to earn you back more than you paid for it. I could be completely wrong of course as am no domain brokering or reselling expert.
I actually bought sparetoys.com & sparetoys.org with the intent of possibly setting up a local charitable organization for some of the toys and games that I buy to resell that end having no real value. Similar to http://www.toysfortots.org/ As it turns out, I barely have time to operate my main business and the websites associated with it, LOL.
I know that feeling BTW as you are in that market if you ever come across a Disney The Jungle Book Album (Vinyl) with story booklet intact I might be interested as wanted to show my daughtwer where I learned the difference between "bear" and "bare" in a fun way when learning English as a child.
I will do. The next time I go to my Mom's, I'll check and see. I might actually have that album! I have a bunch of old Disney records and that one sounds familiar. I will pm you my eBay username so you can keep an eye there too.
