Tough or Easy

    If you follow Google guidelines so its easy and you get good results but if you do not do it so it will become tough and you will never get good results from long time.

    SEO is not that tough, It's all about putting on the right strategy, wether it is about building back links and all... :)

    everything is not so easy and nor tough , just put right keywords on right place as well as follow search engine guidelines and do focus on on - the- page - seo

    I am not sure what "rules" some of you are talking about. There are no direct and specific rules that can be applied to all websites (not even to half of them). Heck, there are more than 200 factors that affect pagerank and yet no one but Google knows them...

    Forget about the rules. Everything can be learned if one has the time, desire and proper mindset for it. Whether it is hard or easy depends on one's definition of those words, as some people have more patience when it comes to overcoming obstacles. If you want to read a book and become an expert in SEO - you can just forget about it. The beauty of SEO comes from the fact that it's not constant. SEO now is different from SEO back in 2012, its even different than SEO in mid 2013. What you can do is get acquainted with the basics and from there on update your knowledge EVERY DAY - read articles, forums, watch videos etc. and take actions that are valid and useful for your specific case/site. Don't bury yourself with tons of information, most of which would not be applicable for your needs and worries.

    So yeah, whether you find SEO hard or easy, its still fascinating ;)

    Define easy. For me, it is. But I only stick to common sense and build quality sites with natural link building. I don't do Black Hat SEO which I consider to be really tough.
