How would you make money out of the website: http://future-weapons.org?

I've tried adbrite but it brings peanuts, adsense is on a borderline of being prohibited on this kind of pages, so please help.

Perhaps creating some kind of premium content that you could sell to weapon fans in a form of an e-book for example. I don't have an idea what that could be though. Perhaps some sort of e-book with a detail list of different guns for example.

However, that needs some different kind of work as well as thinking outside the box.

    Finish the site maybe?

The adverts being displayed may be part of the issue. I'm seeing Laser Hair Removal and Was Your home loan legal? The double underlined popups are off as well.

The links in your left sidebar lead to your webhost's error page.

The forums link at the top is down.

The links along the left on your History of Warfare page, while renamed, still lead to the broken links on your home page.

Ditto for the sidebar links on your Weapons A-Z page.

Can't believe I'm reading that the "Thompson submachine gun" is a weapon of the future.

Sorry but I would have left ages ago.

I agree with theapparatus, the site isn't complete. Your first listing is for the B2 bomber which was introduced in the late 1980's.

You might want to start fresh on a new niche if you haven't spent to much time and money into your already existing site. It seems like it would be easier to start a new site than work more and more trying to get your earnings up.

your traffic to the site is not that much AND the ads that are coming up are not related to your content in any way. You have to think, "Why would anyone want to learn how to make money if they are coming to learn about weapons?"

Create content, good content, then your ads will be relevant to the content and most likely get clicks.

BUT I think creating an info product is a better idea to make money from the site. (as others have already stated)

Know your target audience and concentrate with getting sales from them.Your content is important and weapon products has many restrictions. So it needs special advertisement i guess.

Is there enough interest in this type of subject matter for it to sustain a viable business? It seems to me to be OK as a "hobby" site....but I would be surprised if it is something more substantial would come of it. Perhaps that is why you feel it's a tough market to break into? I assume you've done the research on the subject to gauge interest on this type of thing on the web....so please correct me if I'm wrong.

I agree it is a tough niche, perhaps make expand on it to include gaming. Games like Half Life or Call of Duty...
