    I am new to google sitemap but trying to figure out if I am correctly understand the reading from google sitemap. I have 173 URLs and 0 of them are indexed. I did resubmit google sitemap on Nov 29th, I used to have 31 pages indexed and they still show on google.com when I do site:www.mysite.com so why is that does anyone know how to fix it? Thanks.

    You are probably just enperiencing a very common problem concerning the shown urls indexed count in Google Webmaster Tools.

    I guess if you have any problems with sitemap Google will report it to you.. which can be seen in Google webmasters.. IF you are not seeing anything like that then probably.. it will take some time to update the data..

    Probably related to www. vs non-www
    Try site:www.mysite.com and site:mysite.com on Google and see if you get a different number of pages indexed.
