Total Noob - Allowed to not have a landing page?

    Hey,

    I'm a total newbie to AdWords :p I know that in April (I searched the forum) you could have an AdWords ad directly linking to an affiliate link.

    Is this now against the TOS? If not, what are the repercussions? What are the rules for display URL and actual URL? Also, if this is indeed illegal, is it allowed to send users to a redirect page?

    You can still do this. However if someone else is doing it to the same url, only one ad will show.

    This is true.

    If you find some obscure keywords that the other advertiser isn't using than you can still use this method.
