Total Earning off by a Penny

    I am having something weird happen in the AdSense Report Overview page today. The "Total Earnings" reported is a penny less than the "AdSense for Content Earning" plus the "AdSense for Search Earnings"

    So its something like this (numbers for illustration purposes only):

    AdSense for Content Earnings... 5.10
    AdSense for Search Earnings... 0.10
    Total Earnings... $5.19

    Has anyone else seen anything like this?

    I reported it to Google and they said they forwarded the problem on to the engineering department.

    Very strange.

    rounding, maybe google is working it out to the 10th of a penny and rounding:

    5.095 = 5.1
    0.095 = 0.1
    0.095 + 5.095 = 5.19

    And if this is right, the most it will LOOK like it is off by is 1penny, and 5.19 is correct and the other 2 figures LOOK wrong because of rounding. so you are not been done out of a penny.

    OMG, we have both wasted time posting over a penny, I even made my calculations pretty colours, i'm going to bed.

    I'm sure you're right about the rounding. For some reason I forgot that the amounts can be fractions of a penny.

    I wasn't really worried about loosing a penny, I just found it odd that the math was off.
