I'm still waiting for my first sale. I started promoting Amazon about a month ago, it's still too early to see result.
Isn't the earnings from Amazon less than adsense? looking at the various screenshots it looks like you would earn more from Adsense?
hmmm....yeah i'm just starting out and see great potential a lot and lot of products you have basically 0 competition... hope it stays that way ppl please don't diversify.... And yeah adwords works like a charm, fluctuates from day to day but works... We'll see if amazon does too and just how well
not to be the negative voice, but you move that many items and only receive like 3K when selling 43K worth of murchandise. Ouch!
I had a veeery slow start with Amazon and affiliate marketing in general, but after several years of on-off effort I finally collected enough for my first cheque! ($100). However, the next cheque took only 3 months, the next one only 2, and it's got better and better. So just keep at it, the results will come (eventually!) Yes, commissions are not huge, we've been over that a dozen times here - the Amazon brand automatically doubles your chances (my conservative guess) of making a sale, so it's swings and roundabouts. I still make more from Amazon than from obscure CJ advertisers no-one has heard of.
At the moment I'm able to generate at least $5 a day. Looking to ramp it up soon to $10 ... Things are speading up - yeah Tom
share your strategies pls... I only could earn if I promote it with SEM. without it, its really hard to earn that much.
sorry for my english.. Can you share the method that you use. I have over 5 months work with amazon, there is no result (0.00). Are you use autoblog or you write manual a review? If you use an autoblog, can you share the cript that you use.. thank you very much
Would be interesting to know how much money Amazon made off all the visitors you sent them that you didn't get paid for.
Do I detect a note of irony? If you're talking about short cookie life, I agree, but I will say again what I keep saying - Amazon does not have the most generous commission terms around, but for amateur webmasters it's the best program, it's a trusted brand and it is easy to convince people to buy straight away. On balance I make a nice little earner from Amazon with zero effort (after the initial investment putting up content), and I'll take that.
I have been promoting amazon products since september and my sites just gained momentum on october. All my sites are promoted using seo and free traffic.
Made about £500 in my UK account and about $500 in my US account. Over about 4 or 5 months. Amazon just isnt profitable really, too much work for little gain.
