TOS Question

    I see this in TOS, and I was just wondering does this include the persons screen resolution because on a site of mine if you have a say 800x600 resolution you will have to scroll a little bit to see the whole 160*600 ad as it is in a frame to the right...

    Can some one give me some feedback on this, even though I highly doubt it is a problem, we cannot really control the browser's resolution, right :confused:

    No, it has nothing to do with resolution. They are talking about absolute positioned elements that could obsure a portion of an ad. Every site would be in violation with a web phone- where you have to scroll to see anything because of the screen size.

    Yes, for example you could use css to cover up the ads by google part of it.

    That would be clear violation of this tos.

    Your screen resolution is still showing the entire googld add. Its just that the users screen isnt big enough :)

    I think that particular bit in the ToS is aimed at floating divs. You know those ultra annoying things that block the content and floats up and down while you scroll.
