TOS question on a directory

    Hi,

I have a directory that not all the categories have entries. I can't remove the adsense from the categories that don't have entries as it is a template system that will not allow anything complicated like that. How risky is it to have adsense on a category that is not populated? there is text on all of the pages but only the same text that appears on all as, again, it's a template.

Please tell me what you think.

    Thanks,

    Jez.

if you dont place the ads like normal link in your empty categories, it will not be a problem for you

    Exactly.
    Google won't even notice.

But if you place it as a normal link and get a lot of clicks, you're in trouble because this is considered misleading.

No, it's clearly visible as a google ad - nothing misleading about it at all. So you think it's OK like that? Ok, Thanks.

If it is clearly visible as a google ad, you have nothing to worry about.
    It's OK.
