Hello, I am preparing to start putting adsense ads in my website. So I have been reading adsense TOS and I have a doubt (for sure it is very simple but I am a beginner). When one speak about clicks on ads done by the site owner how are these clicks defined? I was with the idea that they are defined by the IP address that I use when subscribing my adsense account. I would like to be sure about that because if this is the case I would like to avoid to go against TOS since I have more people in the network I use (all behind the same firewall, so all with the same IP address). So I am afraid that some of then click some ads and I get banned. Am I correct on this? And how to avoid it in that case? Thanks cmcash
you are correct. a way to avoid it is to tell your people in your network NEVER to click on the ads because google might mistake them for yourself.
It depends how are you going to implement AdSense. I have blocked adsense showing for my IP from the module I'm using to add it.
i have the same though. I used to check my adsense stat in my school. Google should have associate my account with my school IP address. Since there are so many student and computer in my school. What if one of them click on my Ads....That's why i 've stop checking my Adsense stat in public network
