    yep, toronto hydro
    it's gonna be installed on the hydro poles on the street,
    each pole has a wifi transmitter

    Does anybody know if this will only be avalible in the GTA? Or will it cover the areas like Markham, Richmond Hill, Scarborough?

    for now, it's gonna be set up in the downtown core, so they say by the end of this year, or as early as sepetember

    Just wanted to know is you can really access wifi with your own device?
    We do have WIFI in our place right now.Im curious if I can access it using device not provided by the ISP ( If there is any gadget to access it)?

    I wonder if anyone has checked if wifi is bad for human health. I love it but I'm concerned with so many networks being created and so many waves going through people...
