we have launched a new directory of directories at www.topwebdirectories.com

Permanent Featured Links: $50
Permanent Regular Links: $5

It is launched today and we will be accepting only good directories to make it a good resource and thats the reason we wont be accepting FREE submissions.

I will be adding a TOPSITES script to it very soon for ranking all listed directories and more content pages.

Good luck in your adventure mate, but trust me no one would pay for a pr0 link.

And side comment: No one cares to look at directory sites for resources when they have got google. Directories are only for links no one bothers about content.

i suggest you change the logo (currently it's the template's logo) and the footer text (also from the template)...

we are thinking on ways of how to sort all the listings as there will be more than 10-20 listings in all categories.

we will be making sure that all members get equal benefit of the listings. There are still a lot of things which will be incoporated into the website.

I was thinking of sorting the listing based on the topsites module that i will be installing soon.

I see absolutely no effort in your directory, so, explain to me; why should I submit my site to your directory? What makes it so special?

Would be nice to see/read a serious reply.

Hi Rob,

Everything starts from day 0 and from PR0.

I have registered this domain 2 days back, installed PHPLD and used a good template.

This forum is for making announcements for new/existing directories, so I think I have made proper use of this thread. I wanted to spread the word about it from day one so that it starts getting hits and starts making money from day 1. I have also asked for suggestions about this directory from DP members which will surely help me in making it a good resource website.


PR will increase in next update for sure.

I think prices are decent for a good name and I have good plans to develop it in a directory rating system.
It accepts only paid submissions to avoid SPAMMY submissions from directory owners who are not serious about developing their directories, so it will make sure that we receive only good directory submissions.

As this site was launched on Weekend, I will be putting new logo and new color scheme on this layout on Tuesday, Monday being holiday.

The design doesnt matter much for now and we will keep on changing it as we put more content on it. I am concentrating more on contents for now than design.

I have installed ArticleDashboard article management system on website and will be making it live soon after changing its templates and adding categories to it. I need to customize it to display links of featured members in those articles. Lets see how that evolves

I have seen some good response till now and I am hoping it will only get better.
