What is the average traffic on the keywords that you are targeting?? You may be very well targeting keywords that do not yield very high traffic. url for your website should help to make a more in depth analysis.

I would think it is one of two scenarios:

    1) Your targeted keywords don't get much search volume. Try the Google keyword tool to see approximately how many people search for your target keywords: https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal

    2) Your rankings do not show up for everyone on Google. Google uses multiple data centers as well as geotargeting. So you may see your rankings where you are, but the rest of the country could be getting different results. Try this datacenter search tool: http://www.iwebtool.com/google_datacenter_search
You may also want to try finding a good proxy server to test results from different locations.

    Nice tips vansterdam,

Also pay attention to your Titles and Meta descriptions and see how your listings are shown in SERPs... Even though you are in a high position, if your listing doesn't make the user to click... you will get less traffic.

I am using only following ways to increase traffic to my site,

    1. Social Media, Bookmarking
    2. Add some fresh and unique content
    3. If you have blog then keep up to date with latest news in industry
    4. Submit news or story in relevant content syndication sites.
