Is anyone using offline marketing techniques to promote your online business? What are the most profitable methods? I had good results distributing leaflets and placing classified advertisements on local newspapers. Need to know what else is profitable.
Hi, that depends on a range of things really. I have really good success printing pens with my marketing firm info on them. You can hand out handfuls of them all over the place. For instance, any place that takes a credit card will gladly take a handful of pens since folks accidentally walk off with them. The beer store is great as more people seem to leave with them. Ultimately they distribute themselves. I live in a ski resort so the newspaper is ghastly expensive but you can usually get pretty reasonable ad spots on the local radio stations as well. You sort of want to make sure it runs during commuter hours though. hope that helps, Nigel
