Thought I would give everyone a good look at the top mis-spelled or combined word phrases in KingBloom and the search count for last month. Might be some interesting places for people with similar kw search terms to capitalize. It's the most popular and most frequently mis-spelled key word search query at KingBloom! I can see why...
Lowrider is spelled like that isnt it? Not sure ... maybe not http://www.biz-king.com/Automotive/Car_Enthusiasts/Low_Riders/ Interesting though thx for sharing thx malcolm
Yes, but this is a list of both mis-spellings, and combined words.. "lowrider" should be "low rider" technically, should it not? Anyway, it is open to interpretation...
Im a big fan of Lowriders, its usually written that way, even Lowrider Magazine writes it that way. Shellsex makes me wonder though.
If im feeling a bit lazy when searching i often type with terrible spelling into the search engines knowing their going to serve up the correct spelling.
Ok, had no idea.. Either way, it is pretty high on the list as far as search query phrases that people searched for... Must be pretty popular with others as well...
No offense, but IMO that list has little value; I don't think that terms are widely used. For example: "gardendesing" has two mistakes and is not a hot keyword. This list is older but more accurate: http://buzz.yahoo.com/buzzlog/70226/the-most-misspelled
Where it has relevance is with searches directly related to this directory itself. It's not an overview of the most popular mis-spelling on the internet... It is an example of the most popular at Kingbloom specifically...
Thank you for the list. I find it interesting that you are getting that many folks looking for a thesaurus on your directory. With that many searches a month - seems like anyone with a dictionary/thesaurus type site should be charged $$$ to be featured on your site. I always find these mispelling lists quite informative. I had made a boo-boo on one of my sites and started getting a bunch of traffic because of the word being spelled wrong 1 time on the page. Found out most non-native English speakers make the same spelling mistake with that word. So, I added an entire paragraph for my foreign friends explaining why I spelled the word incorrectly so that they could also find the information on that page. - trust me such a strategy works wonderfully - I still continue to get traffic for both the correct and incorrect spellings. And before anyone asks, NO!, I'm not telling the word - sorry. wifelovers, shellsex, and womeninslips? I am so glad I'm running niche directories.
