TOP in Live, but invisible in Google

I have a site online for about a month and a half now. The niche is not too competitive, I have a great www.keyword.net domain and on/off-line optimization very similar to my more succesful sites.

The problem is it is nowhere to be found for the main keyword in Google. There are hits for some longtail keywords though, but also not very high in SERP. The same situation is in Yahoo, while it is TOP 5 in Live for two main keywords.

What can I do about it?

I'd suggest you to wait for a few more days.. Since the introduction of caffeine, Google is acting wired for me too.

 

There are waiting for the some time.Google crawler return with the particular time with website source.It fetching the datas from the website.

 

try search your site using (site:yourSiteName)

if your site is in the result , it is OK and you must wait .

If do't , there are a problem in your site

 

You need wait for two weeks at lease.

 

IMO, it's easier to ranks in Live than google since it takes meta tags into consideration and have different algorithm than google.

I have one site that ranks #1 in Live and Yahoo but are nowhere to be found on the page 1 of google.

 

use google webmaster tools

 

build your link with main keyword in anchor text.

 

it's because google is weird and it changed the searching algorithm but i think in short while ur site will rank on google

 

Google is going to take just a little bit longer to rank high. Plus they don't rank sites on the same thing.
