Yeah I was thinking tube = hose and that equals siphoning gas from other people's car. Tube > Subway > 12 inch > tube steak And that's a little bit on how my brain works.
Some stations are as low as $2.39 and some are up around $2.59. Just depends on where you are in the metro area.
$1.05/ ltr CDN in Toronto. I am looking at purchasing a hybred car right now. They're kind of ugly but the fuel savings would pay for it in 1 year, if not less. I am being told we will NEVER see prices below $1.00/ ltr again .
The best thing to do is skip to work, and ride your bike to the grocery store, otherwise, not matter what car you have you'll be draining your dollars
The prices went up on Long Island overnight from $2.75 to $3.05 and higher. The highest Ive seen is $3.25. D'oh! I only use 10 gallons/week, so its not a big deal, but it sucks for people who drive a lot! I read that it might hit $4 gallon, before declining. Crazy.
I paid 2.99 today here in Palm Springs. I remember when I first started driving....... *flash back* ..... gas was only like .92 and $5 could get you around town for a week.
I am sure I have paid more than 12NOK/liter that is 6.9 USD/gallon. It is pretty normal in Norway. I think the price is fair. The gas prices in the US are just so low that it is funny that you all complain about you absurd low gas prices. You got nothing to complain about. You should be paying a lot more, it would make you think about how much you drive and pollute the planet. Shame on your all for complaining about $3.25/gallon.
I paid $2.43 (£1.36) a litre last Tuesday at the car hire place. One litre, for my yankee friends, is 3.78 gallons. That's $9.10 to the gallon.
This is god damn rediculious. Yesterday the price went from .90/ ltr to 1.20/ltr. Today we are at 1.26/ ltr. because of huricane Katrinna. But this gas was already in the ground. Our government and the oil companies are in bed together and it really sucks. We need to boycott the oil companies. It is a discusting thought to think that they would capitalize on such a catastrophe.
They're not in bed together...they're one in the same (here in the US)! Gas stations were packed with cars last night. I paid 3.65/gallon. I can only imagine how much some SUV drivers are paying. HA- you see them driving really slowly these days. I pay about $80/month and that means that some SUV'ers are paying $400+/month. I hope driving a giant, slow, ugly, crappy handling truck is worth $1,000 a month for some people.
