Hi Was looking at good online FREE Expired domains search tool with folowing functionalities: -Real time "Availability (not expired or about to expired) -Real time Accurate PR, backlinks, dictionary words, character lengths options Tried the tools recommended in these 2 threads. http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=173419 http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=158462 Sadly, these tools mentioned don't have all-in-one functionalities and here are brief reviews below: http://www.drophunt.com/ Positives: Best search interface with options for PR, backlinks, Alexa Rank, Dictionary words, Deleting date and character length. Negatives: Inaccurate and not real time info. Domains have “Register†(which should mean they are available now) but when you click you are told it is taken. The PR data is also inaccurate. http://www.pcnames.com/ Positives: Good search interface choices. I love the online “available†which is pretty accurate. Negatives: No PR, backlinks data http://www.domainsbot.com/ Postives: Good search interface. Negatives: Availability data inaccurate. It says “Available†but that happiness is temporary when you check registrar and find it is taken. Also no PR, backlinks, dictionary words data. http://www.findeteer.com/ Positives: Quite fast Negatives: No Real time Availability data. It only has “About to Expire†and “Recently Expired†and may be useful for those gong for backorders. Also the Check PR opens into another site which takes some time to load. http://www.odditysoftware.com/ Positives: Relevant criteria PR, backlinks, Alexa, dictionary Negatives:This is not a domain search tool. It provides List of expired names and static data with no indication of availability at any time. You see lots of names on the list and you have to plug them into registrar to check availability. http://www.domainbash.com/ This is not a online domain search tool. It just provides lists of expired names. Please comment if there may be certain features I may have missed out. Any1know of any other comprehensive Expired domain search tool? Or any good dowloadable PC domain search software around? Thanks
Findeteer is useful for expired domains, ones that you can register right now and as for the ones about to expire, put them on a list and check them as they do expire. I have never used the backorder systems out there because they tend to be a ripoff and are just a ploy to get you to bid against a invisible "person" to jack up the price so the seller or domain company gets more for a domain they don't own in the first place. The reason why we have the pagerank checker built into the system is we have 1,367,538 domains in the database and to run "current" pagerank for all these domains is alot of server costs and we don't want to show a rank that is not true, that is why other domain sites have wrong pagerank for some sites because what is there today, may change tomorrow. But the system still shows yesterdays rank, maybe for weeks. Then again what if the domain is sold and being used? You are better off verifing all aspects of any domain yourself because rank, links and backpages will change fast. We are going to set up a system that when requested it will verify rank, alexa, backlinks, site: and archive.org pages. This is in the works Thank you for including us in this outstanding list. After being open only a month we feel honored to rank with the best...
