Here are the top 10 things I know about Google SEO, in order of importance This is theory, and tell me if you agree or disagree #1 --- Domain Name is MOST important Explanation: I know many will argue here... but it seems like, especially for high competition keywords... sites with the domain name go right to the top (as long as they have at least a few good links and title tag etc.) #2 --- Title Tags #3 --- Backlinks #4 --- Mentioning the targeted keyword in the content etc. #5 --- Domain age Explanation: I see OLD sites with not so many backlinks ranking highest What do you guys think about this??? I know what you're going to say "Content is King" etc. -- but I think these 5 factors are most important. Do you guys think anything else is more important, and how would you rank the above in order?
Domain name can certainly be overcome. I dont think content can be overcome. That's my logic at least. And as search engines get smarter content will certainly overcome.
1. backlinks (with the right anchor and in the right places). You can't imagine the boost you can get for a quality backlink. 2. title tag 3. content 4. domain name 5. domain age
Content must be number one. Google (and others) will recognize spam content and penalize accordingly. It's the most important part of a site IMHO. It's only the reason people will visit it.
Will anyone explain how bookmarkings help in Google indexing? Or Through Social Bookmarking how much our url will be indexed in Google? How that bot works?
