Hi Mrrex, thanks a lot for your reply on content theft. That is very useful. I now know that once I submit my stuff to ezinearticles, it is for sure not unique anymore.

Instead of looking for 5 top markets to blog about, I would focus on a niche and who is your audience, why? because it is easier to capture audience. I heard onOprah that a woman who had post-natal depression wrote blogs about her experience. That became so successful (high traffic) that she had to ask her husband to quit his job and help her run the blog. They made close to $40,000 per month US, not bad right?

When you write a niche, you have far less competition. Hence. it is easier to rank high. Also, decide on your audience, you can't expect everyone to read your blog, there has to be a target population, who are they, baby boomers, young families, singles? when you have your readers in mind, write only for them.

My niche is chinese culture and Asian stuff. I like tattoo and styles so I write about them. The problem with top market (e.g, get rich by blogging) is the level of competition. Even if you have a lot of traffic, it fizzles out quickly, and people don't remember you. By contrast, if you write on niche, people remember you.

Cheers, correct me if I am wrong. Connie

You've got a good point here.
Recently, I've found online penny aution a very promising business which is developing at dramatic speed. I think it functions pretty much like gambling sites. However, legally speaking, it is in the grey area. So, I think I should list it out seperately from gambling.

Besides, I think Fitness and weight lossing, are also quite heat topics now.

You may be surprised I am saying this, but one has to come to terms with reality...

Number One will always remain Number One on this planet of humans.

    So go for it!

By the way, "adult" does not equate with "porn".

Porn is a no-no, no matter what.

Porn has taken a MASSIVE hit in the last year, the tubes and availability of free content (and content theft) has taken a monumental toll on the industry. Many, many people in the industry (Adult + Dating) have been laid off in the last year and companies are much smaller. They are all struggling.

Some of it has to do with their own handling of customers (fraudulent activities, cross selling, shady practices etc) and some have to do with their arrogance.

I think in todays maturing marketplace, there are many more viable opportunities available for diverse non saturated products.
