Because you will get worthless backlinks (don't think you are gonna rank higher dou to this!) and the traffic you will get is almost worthless (and short term). I can promise you one thing, the people who advice you to do this don't know what they are talking about. They don't know shit about seo and haven't made a penny this way.

Ezinearticles is a bit of a joke nowadays , the "in article" links are now nofollow Also you are not allowed to link to a gambling site (even in your resource box) even though they let you write gambling related articles and then have the cheek to surround your article with adds by google which have links to gambling sites, Why they have a category for gambling beats me.

i agree - buzzle is too unpredicatable - I submitted a few articles and after waiting for a week decided to just post them on ezine - where they have been doing extremely well I also got upgrades to platinum status with only 10 articles its all about quality - write well, write about what people want to read and watch the traffic increase.

I find that the usefulness of Article Directories changes on a month-to-month basis due to do-follow, the number and location of the article directory's in-text advertising and the overall formatting/layout of the directory. The directories I have been getting most success with recently are: Ezine ArticleCity GoArticles EasyArticles and ArticleSphere. Hope this helps you.
