    This is just something i posted on my blog, what do you think of the list?

    Top 11 Free Programs and Utilties:

    Firefox - Internet browser.

    VLC - Media player.

    K lite codec pack- Codecs.

    CCleaner - Clears unused and temporary files.

    MSN Messenger - Instant messenger.

    AVG - Anti virus.

    DVD Shrink - Copy and burn any DVD.

    Spybot S&D - Malware, spyware and adware removal tool.

    iTunes - Music playback and organization.

    Winamp - Music playback and organization.

    Speedfan - Monitor fan speed, cpu usage etc.

    Yep, great list. I use Firefox, MSN, K Lite codecs, AVG, Spybot and Speedfan.

    Checking now DVD Shrink. :)

    This is a good list and to my surprise

    I am using most of it except Speedfan and CCleaner

    good list that

    I dont use DVD Shrink, AVG, CCleaner and Speedfan

    Instead I use Nero, Avira Free Edition [its better than AVG anytime], Tune Up Utilities

    I use most of those programs on the other computer, they are simply the best compared to paid alternatives.

    My favorite there is the VLC player. It's small, easy to use and compatible with most formats out there.

    I use Nod32 and AIMP2 instead of AVG and Winamp :)

    Well the list is for programs compatible with windows so i didn't want to include any operating systems.

    Hey there,

    Yeah Top list, good one.

    Have used them all at one time or another, all OK ;). Good 'ol FireFox mostly.
