Very nice list. Question tho, are these forums worth it to add signatures and link posts if they're not related to the niche? For example, DP is a webmaster forum predominantly, so if I have a guitar lesson website, is it worth including that link here?
Thank you for the list I will start joining - but I was also wondering the same question- If the sig lines will count thanks karen
I hate to break it to you but do to lists like that one bringing lots of spammers to the forums at SEO.com, they have made links "nofollow" till a member has made a certain number of posts.
As above, there is a negative side to this. Spammers / pre-moderation, re-instating no-follow and even removing the blog happens quite a lot. Better sticking to bookmarking, prs, articles, affiliates. Also a waste of time thinking up an intelligent answer sometimes!
Google -- in its infinite wisdom --- has decided that SEO and Web Optimization is RELEVANT TO EVERY WEB SITE. Even though the KW don't match, its still a valid link. You should post on the Music threads in the Entertainment board here at DP....here's an example of an ideal thread you should have your post (and signature) included: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?p=10857440#post10857440 When I see the "PPC Parasites" in the "Ads By Google"......then I know the post is being crawled by Google and will count as a valid link. (PPC parasites = competitors in my niche who lack organic SEO, so they piggyback on my KW with their Ad Words, which end up on threads at DP)
@HanhVu, Thanks for the exhaustive list. I need these. I was anyway looking for these but that would have taken lot of effort. Thanks for saving my time. Thanks also to others who have added additional forums list.
Oh so posting especially in specific THREADS which are relevant to your niche are especially powerful, whereas my posting in just random sections is good, but not ideal?
Thanks for the list They're great forums But do we need to active on all that forums? I prefer just concentrate to just few of it.
