OK take a look at these top 10 results That's my G page! I own it (in that it's "been owned" if you get my drift? LOL. TBH that's not completely true link 9 is Hobo-Web, so I don't own the whole page yet as still have 1 other company (Hobo-web) to clear off the page as yet, but it shouldn't take long once I get on to it. However you would think this sort of stacking would be impossible wouldn't you. All the sites are on the same server yet 2 of the sites presently hold 6 links between them. I have masses of Google results pages like this, so what do you think of the term "SEO hosting"? SEO Hosting uses the sales pitch you need different hosting for sites in the same niche or they won't rank. I would say that one example alone makes that a rather dubious thing to be banding about, wouldn't you? Feel free to aim to smash the results for your thing... What do you think?
Nice job dude, but is it really a competitive query ? I look pages 2,3,4 it doesn't seem to be any serious opponents, this is why you are the only one on this page...You are focusing on a long tail query mate, even if it sounds a common query, it's a long tail query. It's rather a common thing to have this kind of full page when you are focusing on long tail. Let me explain. You query is : good uk seo to hire You rank well because you were focused on " HIRE UK SEO " (over optimized if you want my 2 cents by the way). But you are only well ranked with this specific query, because you are the only who is interested in it. If I remove hire (good seo uk, seo uk) you are not in the 5 first pages anymore. Same thing happens if I use common query such as freelance uk, good freelance uk and such... By the way, most of the time : general location + SEO is not a query with a lot of demand, especially when you are not from an outsourcing country. I mean you can look for : English SEO, London SEO, French SEO, Paris SEO, Irish SEO, Dublin SEO, Indian SEO... But who will look for UK SEO ? It's like looking for an European SEO, for me ? It doesn't make sense... Google seems pretty agree with me since I can't found this kind of queries in my google adwords app. Finally I don't think the focus on "hire" is a good idea. If I look into Google Adwords hire + seo is a query with lot of density and only a few thousand (6000) of queries each month...Worth the work ? Working on long tail is fine, and as a good SEO you have to do this. But not on only 1 query Good luck dude !
LOL It's just one long tail among hundreds, just an example of something that to my mind makes the "SEO hosting" sales pitch dubious Airknight, did you not read the question? If that was just the only results I had then you might have a point but what you may not realise is the way to zoom in on the shorter tails is to close them down with the longer tails either side of the shorter tail strings. You could try various closely related terms and find the same sites with other pages listed. But still the point was about "SEO hosting" not one SERP and how many might be searching it LOL.
Sorry I tried to give you a whole explaination, but doesn't seem you get my point. You are talking about SEO hosting on a long tail query and only with 2 blogs. Doesn't make sense. Your test is distorted if you want to really know what is the impact of so called SEO Hosting, you have to do this on a query with way more competition and with a complete blog network (at least 5 or 6) Now if you want my thoughts about SEO hosting, it is a sales gimmick IP adresses are not a ranking factor in the google's algorithm and even if they are... remember Google can know who's the owner of a domain. It's a complete myth
I could just as easily showed you short tail on any of 30 plus blogs you still ignored the question trying to make yourself look smart and what's more brought sershc terms into a thread which is a poor show there Sir! Really was no need for that now in your case other than to try and make yourself look smart now was there?
