    According to me-
    1) Permanent backlinks, away from spam backlinks
    2) Targeted keywords should be in h1 tag or in bold text
    3) Passed from copyscape
    4) No need to update daily
    5) domain should be register for more than 2 years
    6) Ping your website in google every weak (spiders problem)
    7) Sitemap (best for index, all pages include inner pages)
    8) Robots.txt
    9) Check your websmaster tools in google every weak (it will show error if google deduct like malware)
    10) Avoid keywords stuffing( Don't target that keyword which is in meta tag keywords and meta description)

    check html validation, and site's error, after that you can do on page and off page work.
