    It's a nice thread that shares good software from different people. Well, I think Photoshop and Dreamweaver is two essential software in my computer. Besides, iTunes for music downloading and listing, quicktime player for playing movies and videos. Open office for file editing. Google Chrome for browsing websites. And Kaspersky KIS for anti virus.

    Is interesting what people's top 10 software list is and how it's changed since the thread was originally started in 2010.My updated 2012 list:1. Windows 7 - just installed 8 - think it's ok, but you need the hardware for it i think2. Outlook/MS Office - still prefer it to online apps3. Visual Studio - development4. Photoshop - development5. DreamWeaver - development6. Textpad - development and other7. Multi-browser Viewer with Selenium - Testing8. Winrar - always a must have9. Virtualbox - for VM's10. iTunes - MusicProbabably have to add Skype in there to....

    Wow. Can't believe that I'm seeing this again. Well, my list remains the same but XP can be interchanged with Windows 7 and Windows Live Messenger is removed completely and replaced by OpenOffice.
