SEO has well defined rules that applied to most of the sites and you can also find tons of links on internet, but the matter is how much of each webmaster try to implement these.

 

Thanks for your nice sharing. I read all your 10 tips and I have some doubt. In your article there are two things that I cant understand, which is Deep Linking and Web Analytics. Will you please give some examples for Deep Linking, because you said that deep linking means linking all the related articles aside to the Home Page. This I don't know how to link all the related articles in a website aside to the Home Page. Also I don't know how to use Web Analytics in a website. Please explain and help me in this regard.

Can we submit in Search Engine Submissions in aft 4 years. Means tell me difference of Search Engine Submissions and Directory Submissions?

My Quick SEO for SERP formula (from my blog):

1. Use a 3-4 keyword phrase.
2. Use keyword phrases that search users would probably use. This is where an SEO expert may come in handy, but with a little imagination and research you should be able to master this.
3. Place your “keyphrases” in your title <title>, header <h1> to <h6>, and link <a href> tags.
4. Place in meta name description <meta name=”Description” content=”place in here – easy on all caps” />.
5. Use this keyphrase 2-3 times minimum in body content.
6. If your website is geographic specific, (even if it’s not) be sure to include your city and state in your title and meta name description tags.

 

Web analytics can help on:
- where your traffic are coming from
- what strategy you are using works best
- which keywords you are ranking
- and there are a lot of other data that you can get from it

*I would recommend Google analytics for this one because i personally use that one.

You can sign up at http://www.google.com/analytics/ and after singning up, you'll be given a code, add that code to your site and you're good to go.

For Deep Linking: As what I've said, it is where you link your page to other related pages. It is a good strategy to build up your other pages aside from your homepage.

Building links intelligently is where you get links that are related to your site. One good way to do that is by looking for some site that has the same topic as yours and try to contact it for article exchange. Article exchange is better than link exchange because, you both get good content and at the same time a valuable backlink.

You do Search Engine Submission if you want your site to get indexed by that SE but it's not necessary to do that if you have good backlinks because SEs will automatically index your site.

You do Directory Submission if you want to build one-way links.

That's the difference. hope you understand it already

It's allowed as long as it is useful to DP members and of a help. Just don't spam and don't post affiliate links.

I have startup three websites offering services in the pc repair and data recovery niche(s). I've launched these sites beginning of September '09. Continously adding new content to them, however, visitor numbers have remained stagnant. I will be applying all the tips mentioned by Zealot777. I am thinking purchasing SEOsuite as well for site optimizations.

Can you plz recommend software that can automate at least some of the SEO work?
Plz could you explain more about "Link building process"/how to find the websites/blogs that fit my niche, how to find out if they are no-follow etc etc.
